"Here is the progess, in stages, of the haircuts I created for myself as I went from long to short. Yes, I cut them MYSELF, and I do a solid job as you can see! I hope you like my work :)" Stage 1 - Many thanks to Ian for these shots! I love this shaggy layered look and will wear it again once my hair grows out. Click for larger view.
Stage 2 - Although this is a good cut, it didn't suit me at all and I couldn't wait to cut it again. It was meant to be flatironed every day because as you can see, I don't have the right texture for it. This cut looks wayyy better on thick, straight asian hair.
Stage 3 - I love this cut on me! Again, it needs to be flatironed every day, but it just takes a quick run-through with the iron instead of Stage 2, which should be poker-straight. This is right about the time a got a BAD flu, so if I look a little ill here, that's why.
Stage 4 - I have wanted to wear this cut ever since I first learned it. It's 'The Dancer', one of the Schwarzkopf Essential Looks for 2007. I got loads of compliments on it, and was sorry to cut it off. At this point I had a full-blown flu and apologize for looking uninterested in this photo! I had just enough energy to make my hair look good and stand for the photos before falling back into bed. Click for larger view.
Stage 5 - Short! I love it!!! And the fun never ends because now I get to grow it out :) Thanks again to Ian for graciously helping out with pics.
